Carly Fishman, MSW, LCSW

Hi, I'm Carly! I graduated from Kent State University in 2014 with a degree in Sign Language Interpreting. I spent 6 years at the John Powers Center as a Paraprofessional, Substitute Teacher, & Sign Language Interpreter prior to going back to school for my MSW. I received a Master's degree in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago in 2020 and came right back to Powers to be the Social Worker for the DHH Program!

ISRC|Illinois Service Resource Center

Providing behavior support for students who are deaf, hard of hearing, blind, or visually impaired

Services include onsite coaching visits at school or home and training for educators and parents.

Josselyn Center

Josselyn is a Community Mental Health Center that provides affordable mental health care. Services include: therapy, psychiatric care, support groups, & crisis intervention.
